8-2-8 Urgent Care is always looking for new team members to complement our staff and help us grow. Below, you can see what position we have available and we encourage any qualified applicant to submit their application to our center. Once we receive the application and depending on the current need, we will call the applicant and set up an interview.

Providers: We are always in need of Physicians and Physician Assistants, whether it is full time or part-time, we are always in need of new providers. Shifts can vary from 4 hours to 12 depending on the need. Providers/applicants must have the following licenses or certificates:

Medical Assistant/X-Ray: All our back office auxiliary staff are MA/X-Ray Techs. Our candidates must be flexible with their schedule and have reliable transportation. Since we are open every day of the year, weekends are our most demanding days. To qualify for this position, our candidate should have an active Limited X-Ray License.

Medical Assistant/Medical Reception: All our front desk staff is MA certified. This is especially important so that our staff can recognize signs and symptoms of patients coming into our center in distress. This position is primary front office and it includes but not limited to:

Accounts Receivable/Billing: Once patient claims are processed, we have balances that we need to collect. This position entails collections, insurance calls, claim follow up and appeals, billing our local claims of HCFA 1500 forms. We will train employees in our protocols. Medical billing experience is a plus.
